Right before publishing a new deviation, there used to be a large list of sections you could publish your work to, such as Digital Art, Photography, and etcetera. Now I don’t see any option whatsoever. I see that there is an option when browsing DeviantArt, but not when publishing Work. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hello everyone! I am a cartoon artist who is in charge of a small business called Prevalent Arts. My goal is to sell products, gain lots of traffic on my website, but I am struggling with a following. I have over 1,000 subscribers on YouTube because of a series of tutorial videos I made on graphic design software, but my plan is to have more of a focus on cartoons.

This is my website: prevalent-arts.com

What type of products would you want to buy, and what would interest you in coming back to my website? And what kind of themes do you like? Cute, funny, motivational, action-packed? Really specify. What hits your spot? I am looking for honest feedback. I cannot guarantee that all suggestions will be used, but I want to know what you think. And what can my website improve on? I look forward to your reply.

So I was watching the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog, and I feel that the movie started off good. I had some good chuckles, I liked the character roles, and I liked where the story was headed. But then things started sliding. The humor got bad, it was overly done, and there was just too much silliness. I feel that too many movies are overdoing things trying too hard to be funny, and it just does not do it for me, since there is lack of a certain cleverness to the jokes. I ended up stopping the movie midway through. It was just so boring.

I enjoyed the character of Tails. The reason is because I could really connect to him in terms of storytelling, and he brought more of the “character development” in the movie that I was looking for. Knuckles was overly done. His voice and character was too obvious to his actual image. Sure, he’s manly, has a specific mission, but it’s too clear. Indicate more character connection as if you want a relationship with the characters. Knuckles seemed more like fan service, whereas Tails, I felt there was more of that relationship.

So overall, I was just not enjoying the movie.

Does anyone know of any alternatives to DeviantArt? I love the community, I love the people, and I love the variety of cartoon art, but I am so turned off from all the sexuality. And it’s not how I want to advertise my work. I get that the word “deviant” kind of implies it, but my understanding was that it was for more so having to do with “aesthetic attraction” and not “sexual attraction,” but maybe I was mistaken.

I am hoping to find a platform that has the same friendly community and art variety, but can have more class and maturity. When there are sensitive themes, I like it when it is just part of the art, and not the pleasure. I look forward to any feedback.
