Babadook

I am very picky when it comes to movies; especially horror. There are so many that are not even scary. Babadook is not one of those. I saw Babadook last night and it was great. It's one of the very few good horror movies in my opinion. Surprisingly, there are not any jumpscares. The overall story and idea is what makes the movie creepy. While there is violence and some blood, I like that the movie was not concentrated on it. Also, I can't stand when Hollywood throws in those unnecessary bedroom scenes into horror films. There is none of that in this movie. For a film that didn't have as high of a budget as others and wasn't so good with the effects, this was a very well made movie.

If you haven't seen it, I recommend you watch it.
